As mentioned above, Code of War has realistic 3D graphics, an appropriate choice considering the game's subject matter. For the most part, Code of War succeeds in bringing life to an immersive world that actually looks like it can exist in real life. Of course, actual details such as textures are very limited, which still makes it a bit uncanny to look at. That said, given the sheer scope of each environment, it's not surprising that the developers wouldn't want to bog down the game with too many details. The gameplay interface is pretty simple and intuitive. At the top of the screen, players will be able to see their information such as their username, time remaining, star rating, and more.
Gameplay
Fans of online shooters will have no problems getting used to Code of War. Your objective in the game is to shoot and kill as many players as you can across the field. Along the way, you'll find various items and power-ups that will increase your experience and improve your abilities.
Issues
Given how ambitious the game is, it is no surprise that it can fall into some pretty massive pitfalls. The biggest issue is the frequent server disconnection. Losing connection with the server would mean fleeing from the battle, so you have to be connected to the server at all times. Not to mention, having to reload to another arena takes some time due to the loading screens.
Pretty Good Shooting Game
Connectivity issues aside, Code of War is a highly enjoyable shooting game that’s great fun to play with your friends. It’s not very original, of course, but if you’re looking for Counter-Strike or Call of Duty alternatives, then this is a great game to try out.
